In Concordia’s Search Engine Optimization course, students learn proven techniques to increase the number of visitors to a website. Students learn how SEO fits into the marketing mix and all about keyword mapping research and selection, placement, and density, tagging, linking, recommendations for on-site design, performance, and social media tactics.
In this program, students gain real-world knowledge, experience, and insights through hands-on training from industry experts with a wealth of experience. Individual and group activities are very hands-on, bridging the gap between theory and practice. This course is designed for the students to meet regularly during live synchronous learning in an online virtual classroom (Zoom).

I am currently in Concordia University’s Civil Engineering program. My experience has been solid so far. The courses are challenging but well-structured, and the professors are approachable. I’ve enjoyed the hands-on labs and group projects, which help connect theory to real-world engineering problems.
Some workload can be intense, especially during midterms and finals, but overall the program is preparing me well for a future in engineering. It’s demanding, but worth it if you’re passionate about civil infrastructure and design.
