George Brown College’s Office Administration – Health Services is a two-year diploma program that prepares students for administrative roles in health-care settings. The curriculum covers medical terminology, transcription, office procedures, billing practices, and health-care law, along with essential communication and computer skills. In the fourth semester, students complete a field placement in a health-care setting, gaining hands-on experience in real-world environments.
Graduates are equipped for careers as medical office administrators and health-care office assistants in hospitals, clinics, and other facilities.
Admission Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
- Grade 12 English (C or U).
- An information session is strongly recommended.
- Basic knowledge of keyboarding skills is recommended.
