It consists of a common platform of 21 core courses in business, database modelling, big data management, programming for machine learning and data analytics, plus three specialization stream courses in either marketing or operations.

Students initiate the field experience with the aid of faculty, targeting companies in the Greater Toronto Area. Field experiences may be completed on a part-time basis throughout the academic year, or full time during the term immediately following the program.

I recently took the Introduction to Artificial Intelligence for Digital Marketers and Communications program at Humber Polytechnic and found it really practical and easy to follow. It breaks down AI concepts in a way that actually makes sense for marketers, without getting overly technical.

I liked that we focused on real-world tools and use cases — from content creation to analytics — and how to apply AI strategically rather than just chasing trends. It’s a great starting point for anyone in marketing or communications who wants to understand how AI can fit into their day-to-day work.
