Humber’s Massage Therapy advanced diploma program provides students with the in-depth academic preparation and hands-on practical experience required to become a valued member of a health-care team.

Working in their state-of-the-art facilities, students develop the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct a patient assessment, develop treatment plans, deliver safe and effective treatment, and evaluate outcomes. Students will also learn how to run a successful business, preparing them to become an entrepreneur or own a private practice.

Their curriculum is designed to emphasize depth and breadth in student’s clinical experience. Learners will have the opportunity to practice their skills with seven unpaid work placements – four of which take place on campus in our Massage Therapy Teaching & Learning Clinic and three of which take place off campus in the community. Thanks to their community partnerships, students will be introduced to a variety of health-care settings and given the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients. To graduate, students need to achieve a minimum of 330 workplace hours. These hours are achieved through taking part in both their On-Campus Internship and Clinical Internship courses. These hours have been advised by the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation (CMTCA).

I recently took the Introduction to Artificial Intelligence for Digital Marketers and Communications program at Humber Polytechnic and found it really practical and easy to follow. It breaks down AI concepts in a way that actually makes sense for marketers, without getting overly technical.

I liked that we focused on real-world tools and use cases — from content creation to analytics — and how to apply AI strategically rather than just chasing trends. It’s a great starting point for anyone in marketing or communications who wants to understand how AI can fit into their day-to-day work.
