In Humber’s Social Media Paid Advertising course, students will explore the components of a successful paid ads campaign and learn how to create ads from scratch. Before diving into tools like Meta for Business, students learn the difference between campaign goals like brand awareness and leads, how to set up a campaign budget, and begin to create a target audience. Learners will leave this course with the confidence to execute a social media paid ads campaign and begin to understand optimization techniques.
This course consists of a live, weekly class, with additional 1-2 hours of self-study required per week. Learners should expect a total of 25-30 hours to successfully complete the course.
The Social Media Paid Advertising course may be taken independently or as part of the Social Media, Certificate of Completion program.

I recently took the Introduction to Artificial Intelligence for Digital Marketers and Communications program at Humber Polytechnic and found it really practical and easy to follow. It breaks down AI concepts in a way that actually makes sense for marketers, without getting overly technical.
I liked that we focused on real-world tools and use cases — from content creation to analytics — and how to apply AI strategically rather than just chasing trends. It’s a great starting point for anyone in marketing or communications who wants to understand how AI can fit into their day-to-day work.
