The Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) program provides foundational knowledge through five mandatory courses covering key principles of P&C insurance. Students can select three applied professional courses and two electives. Each course concludes with a national exam to test comprehension and application of material.
Additionally, students have access to free, self-paced study modules focusing on critical workplace skills. These resources aim to support effective practice as an insurance professional, and active CIP students can benefit from these modules at no extra cost.
Mandatory courses provide the core knowledge and skills essential for all insurance professionals. Applied professional courses offer students the opportunity to explore one or more common career paths within the industry. Elective courses enable students to explore areas of interest or deepen their expertise in a specific specialty. Some electives may have prerequisites. The listed tuition and dates are applicable to live-online learning.
