Bachelor of Commerce – Healthcare Management

Humber’s Bachelor of Commerce – Healthcare Management program combines a strong business foundation with specialized knowledge of healthcare management, preparing students to support and improve operations within Canada’s complex and evolving healthcare system. Students develop core business skills in accounting, economics, financial management, operations, data analysis, and quantitative methods before applying them to healthcare planning, policy, service delivery, and system performance across public, private, and not-for-profit settings.

The program emphasizes practical, industry-informed learning through projects based on real healthcare challenges and a final capstone project developed with industry and stakeholder input. Students also complete a required 14-week paid work-integrated learning experience between the third and fourth year, gaining hands-on experience with healthcare organizations in the Greater Toronto Area or elsewhere in Canada. Graduates can pursue opportunities in healthcare operations, analysis, administration, policy support, consulting, and private-sector supply chains.
