McMaster University Continuing Education’s Canadian Indirect Taxes program provides practical knowledge of GST/HST, QST, and other Canadian indirect taxes. Designed for professionals responsible for administering indirect taxes within their organizations, as well as accountants, bookkeepers, and financial services professionals, the program explores tax principles, obligations, and risks relevant to Canadian businesses and organizations.

Delivered fully online through live, synchronous microcredential courses, the program covers the Canadian GST/HST framework, taxation considerations for public institutions and service bodies, and cross-border and ecommerce transactions. Learners who successfully complete all three courses earn individual microcredentials and a digital Certificate of Completion.

I recently finished the PM certificate and, overall, had a great experience. Instructors are very helpful and the exercises and group work aren't "make work" but instead help reinforce the key lessons. I would recommend improving the web portal experience, which was inconsistent at times with information like due dates and topic titles.
