Event Decor

QC’s Event Decor certification course, offered in partnership with QC Event School, is designed to prepare aspiring designers for a successful career creating visually stunning and memorable events. Through a comprehensive online curriculum, students learn how to develop cohesive design concepts including themes, color schemes, layouts, and decorative elements such as florals, fabrics, and styling details. The program is structured to guide beginners through essential event design principles while building the confidence and creativity needed to bring client visions to life.

Throughout the course, students gain practical skills in working with different budgets, client preferences, and current event design trends, while also learning how to collaborate effectively with vendors. Personalized feedback from industry professionals, access to a supportive online community, and bonus learning resources further enhance the experience. The program also includes business training to help students build a brand, develop a professional portfolio, and launch their own event decor services. Upon completion, graduates earn the International Event Decorating Professional (IEDP) designation, demonstrating their readiness to design and execute exceptional events.

Students can become certified event decorators in as little as a few months through QC’s flexible, self-paced online course. While most complete the program in three to six months, they have up to one year to finish their training and can begin pursuing event decorator opportunities upon certification.
