QC Design School’s Interior Decorating Career Accelerator is a flexible, mentorship-driven program designed to help aspiring designers launch a successful career in interior decorating. Through the globally recognized IDDP™ certification, students gain practical, real-world training focused on transforming creative ideas into client-ready design solutions. With guidance from professional mentors, learners receive personalized feedback on projects while building the skills needed to work confidently in the industry. The program also connects students to a supportive professional community that extends beyond graduation.
This career-focused training combines interactive lessons, hands-on projects, and a complete business toolkit to help students start working professionally in under six months. Students learn space planning, materials selection, styling, and project management, along with how to build and run a profitable design business using ready-to-use contracts, templates, and marketing tools. With additional mentorship and business coaching, graduates leave with the IDDP™ designation, a polished portfolio, and the confidence to begin working with clients in residential design, consulting, or independent interior decorating.
QC’s flexible online Interior Decorating course allows students to learn at their own pace, with many completing the program in just 2 to 6 months while still having up to one year to finish. I have taken multiple QC Design School courses over the past 4 years and I have enjoyed each one. The self-paced structure of each course allows for it to fit into my busy schedule which takes the pressure off. The flexibility options with the payment structure allows me to fit it into my budget without having to pay the full amount up front. This has allowed me to take multiple courses over the years and expand my knowledge without putting any financial strain on me, so I can just focus on my education. The feedback from the knowledgable tutors has benefitted me greatly and has giving me the confidence in my work to start my own business on the side that I hope to continue to grow.

I chose QC Design School after researching online staging certifications. The courses were flexible, well laid out, and budget-friendly. As someone working full-time, being able to study at my own pace was a must. I looked forward to each assignment, and completing the course gave me the confidence to expand my existing organizing and moving services into staging and redesign as well.
The QC course was incredibly practical. It confirmed my skills, helped me grow, and gave me credibility in a competitive market like the GTA. I’d recommend QC to anyone looking to break into the design space. It’s approachable, effective, and built for real life.
