The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) offers a cutting-edge program and award-winning faculty geared towards the shifting needs of our business world, encouraging students to discover creative business solutions that aren’t defined by boundaries.

The four-year Honours BBA program provides students with a strong foundation in all aspects of general management, including accounting, marketing, finance, organizational behaviour and strategy. Its core curriculum is complemented with specialized elective courses in key areas of business, as well as non-business elective courses taken outside of the faculty at York University.

The program takes an innovative and global approach, emphasizing critical management attributes like communication and interpersonal skills. Students entering Year 3 can choose to specialize their studies in one or two of the ten areas of specialization offered at Schulich, and can also opt to spend a term studying abroad at one of Schulich’s leading business school partners around the world.

After working as in-house counsel for a decade, I decided I wanted to go into private practice. I enjoyed law but fatigue was setting in and I wasn't learning the way I used to. The Kellogg-Schulich EMBA accelerated my transition into the c-suite. The students are incredibly diverse and have brilliant perspectives to share on leadership and management. And the name recognition of Kellogg, a prestigious US brand, doesn't hurt. I didn't appreciate this when I enrolled, but the joint US-Canadian credential opened new doors for me in the States, where I now work as an executive for an e-commerce company. Brilliant people, superb name recognition, and phenomenal students and professors -- many of whom are now colleagues. That's what you can expect from this global program.

Schulich's may not have the name recognition that Rotman or Smith has, but the students that graduate are no less knowledgable or capable.

Some of the grads have even earned positions at companies like Microsoft.

The school has an average payback period for MBA students of 3 and a half years, that is the fourth best timeframe in the world!

Plus, getting to study in Toronto is a plus thanks to an abundance of world class food choices.
