The Master of Health Administration (Community Care) at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University, is a pioneering graduate program designed to prepare leaders for the rapidly evolving community care sector. As the first program of its kind in Canada, it responds to the growing need for professionals who can effectively coordinate, manage, and improve care delivery across networks of providers serving diverse populations. Developed in collaboration with healthcare organizations, the curriculum combines academic rigour with real-world relevance, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to lead within complex, integrated care systems.
The program focuses on developing innovative, ethical, and entrepreneurial leaders who can manage or establish organizations that deliver community-based care across multiple settings. Delivered in a flexible modular format, it allows students to continue working full-time while completing the degree in approximately 16 months. Through applied coursework in areas such as policy, management, performance, information technology, and teamwork, students learn to address real challenges in community care. With its emphasis on experiential learning and problem-solving, the program prepares graduates to improve care coordination, strengthen health outcomes, and lead meaningful change across the healthcare system.
The program is completed in 16 months or four(4) semesters. Students can expect to be in class Thursday evenings, and all day Friday and Saturday five times in the first three semesters, but fewer times in the last semester.

Student Reviews (5)
Their in-person curriculum is administered reasonably well.
The online courses are not great due to limited opportunity for feedback, correction, etc. They also don't feel terribly well structured.
Great school, great programs, great location. Doesn't get better than this.
