Image Arts: Film Studies (BFA)

Toronto Metropolitan University’s Image Arts: Film program is internationally recognized for cultivating creative, technically skilled, and critically engaged filmmakers. Through a hands-on curriculum that spans story development, cinematography, sound design, and both digital and analog filmmaking, students gain a comprehensive foundation in the art and craft of cinema. Courses such as Film Production: Silent Film, Introduction to Cinematography, and Introduction to Film Studies equip students with both historical context and practical expertise.

Admission Requirments

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Portfolio including a short film/video up to 90 seconds in length (maximum).
