Students in the Post-Graduate Certificate in Digital Construction Management program earn a skill set that combines construction management techniques with comprehensive knowledge of advanced technologies. Harnessing the power of emerging technologies, students will learn how to optimize the construction process for efficiency, sustainability and cost effectiveness.
The construction building cycle is followed through practical assignments within the program, allowing participants to engage in hands-on learning. They take part in experiential learning opportunities, such as case studies and the evaluation of digital plans, while developing technical skills through an integrated project that spans the duration of the certificate. Students also complete a construction practicum and select one of three focus streams: Contract Administration, Construction Estimation, or Construction Project Coordination. Throughout the program, they engage with construction leaders and peers in dynamic discussions, progressing alongside a consistent peer cohort, which helps build a professional network. Upon graduation, students leave with a robust construction portfolio and valuable technical experience.
