City University in Canada’s Master of Counselling program makes it attainable for students to earn their degree, offering a variety of convenient schedules which allow students to complete their degree within a few years. The Master of Counselling program is designed for busy, working professionals, and also students who are early in their academic careers. Students will enjoy small cohort sizes students in each of their classes.
Students can attend classes in-person at the Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, or Victoria campuses, or they can opt to attend virtually through City University’s virtual campus. The program has been approved by the Alberta Minister of Advanced Education upon recommendation of the Campus Alberta Quality Council. The Master of Counselling program satisfies the educational program requirements for many counselling regulatory bodies and associations across Canada, including the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association(CCPA). Students are encouraged to contact the professional associations and regulatory bodies connected to their professional interests to keep up to date on requirements within their preferred jurisdictions.
Comprehensive courses cover a broad range of clinical issues to help students develop a solid theoretical and ethical framework while gaining the practical counselling skills they need.

- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
