Is CodeCore a Designated Learning Institution (Accredited)?
The BC Ministry of Advanced Education does not use the term “Accredited” as of 2016 and now uses the term “Designated”. And yes, we are a fully Designated Learning Institution under the BC Ministry of Advanced Education.

Who should apply?
You’ve already started learning to code. You’re looking to accelerate your learning and make that jump. * You’re interested in solving problems through code and putting in the long hours it will take to become proficient. * If this doesn’t fit you, no problem. We can help you gain the fundamental knowledge you will need to succeed in the bootcamp.

Can I apply for Student Loans for the bootcamp?
Yes! There may be multiple options available based on your situation. You may wish to talk to your bank about a personal loan or a Student Line of Credit. CodeCore is a Designated Institution and you may be able to apply for a Student Loan under StudentAidBC (or your home province). Contact CodeCore to speak with a representative for more information before applying!

Can you get me a job after the bootcamp?
The law prevents us from guaranteeing students a jobs after our course, but most likely. The demand for junior developers in Vancouver is quite high. In fact we’ve got over 40 Hiring Partners who are looking for new talent. So much so that some of them are hiring candidates and sending them to CodeCore for 12 weeks.
