For those looking to launch a career in aviation, Windsor Flying Club is the right place because they make flight training easy and fun. There are challenges, of course, but each is a manageable step, a gradual progression that allows pilots to expand their knowledge and skills at their own pace.
An applicant must hold a Private Pilot Licence and have reached their eighteenth birthday prior to the issue of the commercial pilot licence. Training includes a minimum of eighty hours of ground instruction, sixty-five hours of dual and solo flight instruction, successful completion of a written exam and a practical flight test. The applicant must have completed a total of two hundred hours of flight in airplanes including one hundred hours as pilot-in-command.
The holder of a Commercial Pilot Licence may be employed as a pilot in a Commercial Air Service.
The scheduling and length of training is based on availability and subject to change.
