I successfully completed the first year of the program and started flights during the summer. My flight progress was successful as well. However, I was kicked out from the program because I did not meet the minimum score for pre-requisite Seneca test. I was not given chance to take TC exam and any other chance to stay in the program though some students have that chance. It was a shock to be removed from the program completely because of one test and without any previous warnings.
I do not recommend this program as you will waste your time and money. Only 30-40% gradute from this program and you will never know when you can be kicked out. Also you will need to move to Peterborough and rent. I lived only one month in the room but because of one year lease we need to pay for the whole year. It is very difficult to find sub-lease and college does not help.
I would recommend to take any flight school instead and not let this program to kill your passion to aviation. They do not value students who can fly.

Enrolling in the Workplace Safety and Prevention program at Seneca Polytechnic’s King Campus was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made—for both my career and personal growth. If you're even remotely considering a future in health and safety, stop thinking and start applying. This program delivers.

The instructors are experienced professionals who don’t just read off PowerPoint slides—they bring real-world scenarios into the classroom and challenge you to think critically about everything from ergonomics and industrial hygiene to risk management and current legislation. The curriculum strikes the perfect balance between academic rigor and hands-on learning. You won't just study safety—you'll start living it.

The King Campus itself? Beautiful. It’s hard to stress out when you’re surrounded by trails, lakes, and wildlife. The peaceful environment gives your brain the space it needs to absorb some very intense subject matter—because make no mistake, this is a challenging program. But it's also incredibly rewarding.

I came in with a passion for prevention and graduated with the tools, confidence, and certifications needed to make a real impact in the field. The networking opportunities, peer support, and access to industry resources were top-notch. I left feeling ready—not just to land a job, but to change the game in workplace safety.
