The University of Ottawa offers a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science through its School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. This program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to design and implement software systems, integrating theoretical principles with practical applications.

Computer science at the University of Ottawa focuses on both the fundamentals of computation and information processing and their real-world applications. Students develop the ability to create fast, reliable, scalable, and secure software systems for organizing and analyzing information. The honours curriculum covers advanced topics such as databases, artificial intelligence, computer graphics, security, distributed computing, and algorithm design, culminating in an honours project that allows students to apply their learning in a practical setting.

The program also offers a French Immersion Stream, allowing students to pursue their studies in both official languages. Admission Requirements

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent.
• Grade 12 English or French, Advanced Functions,  Calculus and Vectors.
