Advertising and Marketing Communications Management (International Students) only accepts applications from International Students.

The Advertising and Marketing Communications Management program at Mohawk College prepares graduates with the skills needed to excel in the fast-paced marketing and advertising industry. Graduates can analyze and respond to clients’ advertising goals using core marketing principles, perform market segmentation and consumer behavior analysis, and develop integrated marketing plans. They are skilled at evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns and ensuring compliance with Canadian legislation and industry standards. Graduates also excel in creative problem-solving, project management, and presenting persuasive strategies.

In addition to technical expertise, the program emphasizes essential employability skills. Graduates communicate effectively in written, spoken, and visual formats, solve problems systematically, and manage information using technology.   • Art direction, copywriting, layout design, basics of photography, graphic design, UX app prototyping, and idea generation techniques.

  • An understanding of Adobe Creative Suite for photo editing, layout design, and video editing and effects.

This is my second time attending this college, when I attended years ago it was a very different experience. The school held many events, frosh week was always a blast, the campus is massive, free gym membership on campus, and they have great selection...

This is my second time attending this college, when I attended years ago it was a very different experience. The school held many events, frosh week was always a blast, the campus is massive, free gym membership on campus, and they have great selection of food, downside was parking was usually a nightmare. This year is a bit different, with classes online its a bit hectic, confusing and I knew it would be. In my course the professors are very supportive, the layout is making a bit more sense each day, the it department have been fantastic. One thing I will say is that it can be a bit difficult to get some answers from certain departments, but my course professors are doing a great job so far!
