Mohawk College’s Business Administration program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for successful careers in management. Delivered over six semesters, the program provides a balanced mix of marketing, operations, and administration courses, giving students an in-depth understanding of how different business functions collaborate to improve competitiveness. Graduates earn both a 2-year Business General diploma and a 3-year Business Administration Advanced diploma, ensuring they have a well-rounded foundation in business principles.

The program emphasizes practical application by teaching students how to evaluate global issues and their impact on business opportunities through environmental scanning. Students apply principles of corporate sustainability, social responsibility, and ethics to support organizational initiatives, while also learning how to assess and use current technologies to enhance business performance. Key skills in project management, human resource practices, accounting, and marketing are also covered, ensuring students are well-prepared to handle diverse challenges in a business environment.

In addition to gaining practical business knowledge, students participate in the development of business plans, assess supply chain and operations management principles, and learn strategies to manage risks within an organization. The program fosters a strong focus on professional growth, encouraging students to develop strategies for ongoing personal development to enhance their performance in the business field. By the end of the program, graduates are ready to take on management roles in various industries, with the skills and confidence to lead in a dynamic business world.
