Financial Services and Insurance Technology

Vanier College offers a three-year Financial Services and Insurance Technology program that prepares students for careers in banking, insurance, and investment fields. The program is accredited by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), and the curriculum covers finance fundamentals, insurance policies, risk assessment, and wealth management.

Students benefit from hands-on learning through a four-week internship and are equipped to write professional exams required in the financial and insurance sectors. Vanier College stands out as the only institution in Quebec offering the Financial Services and Insurance program in English, which provides students with a unique advantage in preparing for careers in bilingual environments.

Admission Requirements

• Proficiency in spoken French is required.
• It is highly recommended to have completed Math TS/SN 506, a prerequisite for Calculus 1.
