The Rotman School of Management’s Rotman-FP Canada™ Financial Planning Business Essentials program develops the business, leadership, and technical skills needed by modern financial planning professionals. Delivered through a blend of virtual learning and immersive in-person sessions, the practice-focused program combines core financial planning disciplines with emerging areas such as ESG, artificial intelligence, data-driven decision-making, and executive communication.
Developed in collaboration with FP Canada and delivered by Rotman faculty, CFP professionals, and industry experts, the program helps participants strengthen their financial and analytical capabilities while developing client communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Participants also complete FP Canada’s Technical Education – Fundamentals and Advanced as part of their progression toward CFP® certification.
