Health Care Administration

The Health Care Administration program at Canadore College is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate that prepares students for leadership roles in health care. It covers leadership, financial practices, human resources, operations, and legal and ethical aspects. Students will learn to manage teams, solve problems, and improve processes within health care organizations.

Graduates are equipped for roles like health care manager, program director, and clinical records manager. Admission requires a post-secondary diploma or degree in a health-related field or equivalent. The curriculum includes courses in communication, health care policy, ethics, financial practices, and human resources, with a capstone project.
