The curriculum in this University of Medicine and Health Sciences (UMHS) program is modeled after top U.S. and Canadian institutions, providing an education that prepares students for licensing exams and residency placements. The curriculum, combined with intensive test preparation and support from experienced faculty, helps ensure student success.

The Basic Science Program (Semesters 1-4) on the St. Kitts campus covers biomedical sciences, including anatomy, histology, physiology, and genetics, while introducing clinical skills like history taking and physical exams.

The Clinical Science Program (Semesters 5-10) focuses on specialized medical skills and practical experience. Students begin clinical coursework in Maine and then complete core rotations at 20+ affiliated teaching hospitals across the U.S. and Canada.
