CompTIA Technician

CIMT College’s CompTIA Technician program delivers comprehensive training across A+, Network+ and Security+ to build a strong foundation in IT support and infrastructure. Through four integrated courses—A+ Essentials, A+ Technician, Network+ and Security+—students gain in-depth knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking and cybersecurity. Using official CompTIA courseware and textbooks, the program prepares candidates to confidently pursue multiple CompTIA certifications, with the convenience of writing their exams at the college’s in-house testing centre.

Designed to support learners at various skill levels, including those with basic computer knowledge, the program combines theory with hands-on, in-person lab experience. Students work directly with tools, servers, drives, CPUs and other essential equipment to develop practical troubleshooting and maintenance skills. Lab components require on-campus attendance, even for hybrid learners, ensuring graduates leave with real-world technical experience and the competencies required to support, secure and maintain modern IT systems.
