McGill University’s Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for Healthcare program provides professionals with practical training in process improvement and quality management within healthcare environments. The program introduces the Lean Six Sigma methodology and its integration with the IHI Improvement Model, focusing on data-driven problem solving, team-based decision-making, and sustainable improvements to healthcare processes.
Participants learn to identify root causes, recognize waste and bottlenecks, and develop solutions to improve quality, efficiency, cost, and service delivery. The program is available as a three-day training leading to a Healthcare Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or a four-day option that also includes a certificate in Building a Lean and Agile Organization.
