Your organization’s strategic plan is its game plan for change. This highly practical program is led by Canada’s two leading practitioners in the subject, each with extensive change leadership experience across industries.

This session will enable you to develop and implement a focused and action-oriented strategic plan to drive successful change and, more importantly, establish the conditions for long-term success.

Today’s fast-paced business environment renders much of the conventional wisdom surrounding managing change outdated, and in some cases, downright dangerous. It’s no surprise that most attempts at organizational changes (culture change, integrating acquisitions, launching new products, or integrating new IT platforms) end in failure.

To beat the odds, it is imperative to establish the winning conditions. This Program will help you identify and implement these very elements – guidance, speed and momentum – and develop the execution plan to drive their implementation.

What You’ll Learn

  • To establish the winning conditions for successful organizational change
  • To diagnose the challenges associated with organizational change
  • To create a game plan for change

Queen’s is consistently ranked among the best in the world. You can find average salaries and graduation rates on CourseCompare and on Smith’s website. The numbers speak for themselves.

But the best things about Queen’s are the people, the community and the networks. You will probably have fun here while meeting the future CEO of a tech startup or leader in finance and consulting. QC doesn’t set up internships for you and you will have to find one on your own, but recruiters are always on campus and profs are in your court and available to help you. There are also 40+ clubs to join where you can meet amazing people. There are regular conferences happening that attract first-rate speakers, and the exchange program is amazing and not one to be missed.

Queen’s and Ivey at Western are both excellent, but I chose Queen’s because it’s a 4-year program. Ivey begins in year three and I didn’t want to have to compete to get in and then make friends halfway through my undergrad experience.

To summarize, Queen’s is where future business leaders are being taught. The community is second-to-none and the career results speak for themselves.

The program gave me an edge in my day-to-day business dealings and ultimately boosted my confidence to take my family business to the next level. I loved the videoconference technology. It felt as if you were right there in the front row of the class, and the professor– student interaction was wonderful. This program is not for the faint of heart, but I couldn’t imagine where I would be today without it.
