Toronto Metropolitan University’s Bachelor of Engineering program offers an undeclared option for those students who are still deciding exactly which stream to pursue. Foundational courses in engineering, chemistry, algebra, writing, and physics will help students decide between TMU’s nine possible options for engineering pathways.
By December 1, students will decide between aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, industrial, mechanical, and mechatronics engineering programs to begin in their second year. Students are required to maintain a high average in the 80s to continue in the program of their choosing.
By centralizing the first year of engineering programs, students will be able to make a more informed decision about their disciplines, and hands on courses will ensure they are best prepared.
