Career Coaching Practitioner is a dynamic 12-week professional development course designed for coaches and people-support professionals who want to strengthen their ability to guide meaningful career-focused conversations. The program equips learners with practical tools and approaches to support self-reflection, visioning, goal setting, and action planning, helping clients build confidence, clarity, and direction in their careers. Rather than a formal coaching certification, the course focuses on expanding coaching capacity and improving the quality of career development discussions through a holistic, community-based learning experience.

Throughout the program, participants explore the Hope-Action Theory, a well-researched framework that connects career development, coaching practice, and purposeful decision-making. Learners develop skills to enhance client resilience, adaptability, and self-awareness while considering environmental and systemic influences on career paths. The course is recognized by the International Coaching Federation for 20 Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs), and by the end of the program, participants are better equipped to support others in making informed, confident, and meaningful career decisions through reflective and strengths-based coaching approaches.

What You’ll Learn

  • Use and apply the hope-action theory, a model that connects career development, organizational coaching, and approaches to purposeful career conversations.
  • Use strategies that stick and empower people and cultures to thrive.
  • Strengthen your clients’ relationship with themselves to enhance their abilities to make career decisions in a positive, confident, and hopeful manner.
  • Observe and work with environmental factors and influences in a resilient and sustainable way.
  • Access personal and systemic resilience and adaptability through a process of personal mastery and reflective practice.
  • Extend these traits into your career coaching practice with your clients and the people you support.

A good and inexpensive introduction to copywriting with some time spent on relevant business concepts. I wish I had taken Writing for Content Marketing, as that's what I'm more interested in, but I guess this course helped me learn that about myself. There are no grades, just assignments, for this course. Overall, I probably spent about 3 hours per week on the material and got in some face-time with the instructor.
