The PMP® & CAPM® Certification Course program offered by the University Canada West (UCW) provides an entry point into the dynamic field of project management. Aligned with the latest standards from the Project Management Institute (PMI), the course equips learners with essential project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies needed to succeed in modern project environments. Using PMI-approved content, the program builds a strong understanding of key principles such as the project life cycle, scope management, ethical standards, and the distinctions between projects, programs, and portfolios, giving students a solid foundation to prepare for the CAPM or PMP certification exam.
Throughout the program, participants develop practical skills in resource allocation, risk management, stakeholder communication, and business analysis. The curriculum also introduces both predictive, plan-based approaches and agile frameworks, enabling learners to understand when and how to apply different methodologies in real-world project scenarios. Structured across four key domains—including project management fundamentals, predictive methodologies, agile frameworks, and business analysis frameworks—the course prepares aspiring project professionals with the knowledge and confidence needed to support successful project delivery and advance their careers.
