Students in SAIT’s 150-hour Digital Audio certificate program will gain comprehensive training in sound theory and work with digital audio hardware and software to learn the necessary competencies to succeed in a variety of in-demand audio production and engineering occupations. Taught by experienced industry professionals, this immersive in-person, lab-based program will give students the hands-on skills needed to succeed in this field.
Students must complete all of the required six courses: Digital Sound, Intro to Live Sound Engineering, Mixing and Mastering, Advanced Audio Recording, and Sound Design.
What You’ll Learn
- Properly set up a recording session, including microphones, equipment and recording software.
- Record, edit, mix and master different projects using a variety of digital signal processing techniques.
- Use both analog and digital mixing consoles in a live sound environment.
- Explore sound design and synthesis for the creation of soundtracks for games and videos.

Half-way through course, and still no resolution on 360 email. No one available to talk to, and contacts noted in email are never available. Was like this when I registered last year. You'd think I'd learn.
