NAIT’s Construction Engineering Technology diploma program, available with a co-op option, offers students a comprehensive understanding of the management, estimating, and technical aspects of construction, with a primary focus on buildings and related support industries. Throughout the program, students will develop a strong foundation in structural engineering fundamentals, drawing interpretation, and other essential courses that build core construction knowledge. Students will also gain an understanding of project planning, contract administration, and project coordination, positioning them for leadership roles in site management and project supervision.
In this program, students will develop a broad knowledge of management, estimating and the technical aspects of construction, with a prime focus on commercial and residential business and related support industries.
Graduates of the Construction Engineering Technology program have gone on to find careers in the following industries: construction firms, government agencies, property developers, consulting firms, manufacturers, and suppliers of construction materials and products.
