Bachelor of Early Learning Program Development (Honours)(International Students) only accepts applications from International Students.
The Bachelor of Early Learning Program Development is a four-year, paid co-op degree program, offered at the honours level, designed to provide students with a practical understanding of developing early learning programs for classrooms and communities. This program prepares graduates for careers in pedagogy, curriculum development, program coordination, and social policy work, supporting children, youth, and families. With an emphasis on developing reflective professionals, students will enhance critical thinking and communication skills, enabling successful collaboration in inter-professional teams. Program design, implementation, and evaluation will be taught within a research-informed framework focused on population needs and social inclusion.
Throughout the program, students will engage in real-world learning opportunities that connect theory to practice. They will explore multiple theoretical perspectives to understand social policy and shape effective practices in social and educational programs. Conestoga also offers a related diploma program in early childhood education (ECE).
