The hospitality and tourism industry is constantly evolving to meet consumer trends and challenges in the 21st-century economy. Conestoga’s Bachelor of Hospitality Management program is ideal for those seeking an exciting, fast-paced career where creativity is key to addressing industry issues and collaborating with like-minded individuals.

This three-year bachelor’s degree program equips students with the essential skills and knowledge to succeed in various careers in hospitality, leisure, tourism, events, and related fields. The program builds on strong theoretical foundations, enhanced by case studies, lab activities, simulation exercises, and a four-month paid co-op work term. Students learn in the Centre for Culinary and Hospitality Innovation at Conestoga’s John W. Tibbits (Waterloo) Campus, which boasts a state-of-the-art culinary kitchen with commercial-grade appliances and the student-run restaurant, Bloom.

Admission Requirements

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, OR 19 years of age or older.
  • For students with transcripts from outside of Canada, a comprehensive course-by-course credential evaluation is required.
