In Fanshawe College’s Fashion Marketing and Management two-year diploma program, students will deepen their understanding of the multi-billion dollar retail industry. The three areas of study focus on business, technology and visual presentation with emphasis on principles and practical experience in marketing and management. Course content emphasizes forward-thinking global trends and ethical and sustainable practices throughout the year. Students are taught Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software.
Students have multiple opportunities to network with professionals to gain industry connections and operate a retail store. Live Chic is Fanshawe’s student-run online and retail campus store, offering apparel, home goods, giftware, and wellness merchandise. Fashion Marketing and Management is the business of fashion and students are provided the knowledge with the hands on approach to prepare them for a dynamic career in retail.
