Students in the HEC Montreal Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program will experience a unique multilingual approach, with 3 possible paths: French, bilingual or trilingual. Throughout the program, the structure gradually leads to choosing from 15 specializations including International Affairs, Business Analysis – Information Technology, Business Analytics, Professional Accounting, Applied Economics, Applied Economics Finance and Mathematics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Project Management, Operations and Logistics Management, Human Resources Management, Business Intelligence, Management, and Marketing.
Courses in the BBA are adapted to contemporary issues, such as: sustainable development, business ethics, social responsibility, entrepreneurship and innovation. Students also have the opportunity to study abroad for a term, to gain an international perspective on business. In the final year, students will participate in paid internships, in order to further develop their skills through contact with the reality of organizations.
The core curriculum of BAA aims to provide a solid training in management by exploring basic concepts. In addition, exploring all facets of management in the core curriculum before choosing a specialization maximizes the probability of obtaining a degree. More than 50% of BBA graduates have had an international experience. This can take the form of a campus, a credited project or a one-term exchange. All exchange courses are recognized in the BBA program, allowing students to gain experience abroad without slowing down their progress.
