What You’ll Learn

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of employee recruitment, selection, and retention plans and processes
  • Administer and contribute to the design and evaluation of the performance management program.

Pros
- The education in the skilled trades is really good at Canadore. Many students travel to take aviation and culinary programs. My construction program was worth the trip.
- Instructors are very good and they care about you as a student...

Pros
- The education in the skilled trades is really good at Canadore. Many students travel to take aviation and culinary programs. My construction program was worth the trip.
- Instructors are very good and they care about you as a student.
- The focus on jobs is also a big part of the school. Lots of manual training and preparation for work.
- The college is attached to Nippising University and students benefit from the facilities and instructors.

Cons
- It's cold! It's cold and it's remote. The school is located in North Bay, in Northern Ontario. If you are from a big city, like I was when I went to Canadore, it can be a slow pace with not a lot going on. Make sure you find your friends or at least a study group and be prepared to focus on your work.
