Lambton College’s two-year Early Childhood Education program blends classroom theory and hands-on practical experience both in a beautiful new state of the art classroom and through community field placements. This dynamic combination gives students the knowledge and skills to work with young children aged 0-12 years in a variety of settings, while preparing them for this in-demand profession.

Students graduate with over 600 hours of practical experience through placements in child care centres (infant, toddler and preschool), drop-in centres, Indigenous child care centres, as well as kindergarten classrooms. Students also have the unique opportunity to complete a placement in the on-site EarlyON Child and Family Centre. Lambton College’s on-site Parent & Professional Resource Centre offers valuable resources for curriculum planning, research, and professional development.

Lambton College is home to many international students and gives good prices compared to other colleges. CourseCompare did a good article on all of the tuition "premiums" for colleges in Canada that helped me: https://www.coursecompare.ca/cheapest-coll...

Pros are you have international student body and all of programs you could desire. Not hard to get acceptance but some standards for sure. Living expenses are not too huge and campus is very clean and nice and energetic. I liked my time here and got a job in business when I graduated but you will have to work hard to find opportunities. School will not make them for you.

I was one of many international students at Lambton College in Sarnia, Ontario -- the college has 3,500 international students from all over the world.

I was one of many international students at Lambton College in Sarnia, Ontario -- the college has 3,500 international students from all over the world.

Admission criteria wasn't as strict as some other programs and GRE and GMAT weren't required for all programs. Classes were focused on careers and jobs, which is what I was looking for.

Campus life was excellent even if Sarnia is what people called "sleepy." I learned very much from professors and other students. Very local feel and people were serious about their education.
