The Auto Body Repair Technician program is a two-year offering that will open the doors to a career in the auto body industry and could lead to a managerial position or to successfully operating your own business.

You’ll spend approximately 40 per cent of your schedule gaining hands-on practice in a spacious and well laid out state-of-the-art auto body lab outfitted with new equipment. In this lab, you’ll learn from faculty members with years of industry experience who are committed to seeing you succeed and to helping you maximize your skills.

As a Graduate, in two years you will have earned an Ontario College Diploma and the first two levels of in-class education in the Auto Body and Collision Damage Repair Apprenticeship. You will then be ready to start your journey as a registered Apprentice, which will prepare you to return to school for your level 3 on a traditional apprenticeship.

What You’ll Learn

  • Develop a repair plan by evaluating collision damages to automotive body and frame through analysis of vehicle construction and substrates used by vehicle manufacturers.
  • Disassemble, assemble, test and inspect vehicle body components according to vehicle manufacturers’ recommendations.
  • Repair vehicle cosmetic and structural components according to industry standards using basic repair techniques.
  • Comply with health and safety legislation and safe work practices to support and maintain efficient, safe and secure shop operations.
  • Maintain various automotive systems to required manufacturers’ specifications.
  • Perform paint manufacturers’ refinishing procedures according to manufacturers’ standards for quality, appearance and durability.
  • Use leadership, teamwork, conflict and relationship management skills and tools to contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Develop and apply strategies for personal, career and professional development to enhance work performance and maintain currency with industry.

I wanted to apply to Centennial College for the Digital Marketing programme.

But they don’t inform new students about the total fees before paying the deposit. They told "approximate fee" and they wanted me to pay a deposit ( 2.650 $) without knowing the total 1-year fee. They just want to have money, money, money!!! Students have a right to learn the exact final tuition fee before they register. They said that they would let me know until 22nd June 2020 but still there is no information. I sent an e-mail 3 times after 22nd June, they never answered my mail.

Moreover
After the pandemic, the Centennial college has just started to demand the whole tuition fee only from the international students until 6th July 2020 while they were taking the fee semester by semester before the pandemic.
They are not asking the whole fee from the domestic students.

Centennial does not be equal for all students in terms of the payment schedule. The epidemic has already affected to all international students. However, Centennial still does not inform students about Fall fees?

My suggestion is please be careful while you want to go to Centennial College. You should think more than twice if you don't want to go to a school which sees you only as money and doesn't respect your rights.

Faculty and Administration staff were helpful and friendly. I studied here after getting my PR in Canada and my experience has been recognized by employers in the IT industry.
