Chinook Helicopters offers student pilots the opportunity to do their Transport Canada written exams at facility monitored by an Authorized Examination Invigilator. A Private Pilot licence is required for individuals and aircraft owners who do not intend to work in the commercial industry. The specified forty-five hours of flight time is a minimum requirement and private pilot students may require additional flight training hours to meet the training and flight test.
Develop superior skills with Chinook Helicopters while learning to fly with the highest level of safety. Included in the Private Pilot License program is seventeen hours of dual flight training, twelve hours of solo flying, forty hours of ground school, and examination fees.
The scheduling and length of training is based on availability and subject to change.
