Discover the vibrant world of Fashion Design at LaSalle College Vancouver, and be empowered to showcase visions for the future of fashion on the world stage. Students will dive into the artistry of fabrics and silhouettes, craft narratives through designs that balance tradition and contemporary allure, and skillfully create meaningful designs, and make a mark on the Fashion industry.
Students will gain a solid foundation in the fundamentals of apparel engineering; master garment construction and design (tailoring, flat pattern drafting and draping, computer pattern drafting and grading); engage in ethical, sustainable decision-making; develop effective market strategies.
Successful Fashion Designers possess a unique combination of skills, including creativity, adaptability, curiosity, problem-solving, and communication.
