The Master’s Program in Counselling Psychology prepares graduates to integrate critical knowledge and understanding of the theoretical bases of counselling, and develops counselling skills. The model of training is that of a scientist-practitioner with an emphasis on reflective practice. The program provides an array of supervised practicum placements that can support more specialized experience to meet individual needs and interests. Graduates have found employment in a wide range of settings including schools, community agencies, clinics, hospitals, business and industry, rehabilitation centres, government services and private practice.
