Professional Certificate in Communication and Public Relations

I completed my BSc in Environmental Science at Western University in 2022. I enjoyed the program, as it provided a lot of flexibility to tailor my degree to my interests. While the large student and faculty body could be overwhelming, I was able to connect with multiple professors to conduct research in my undergraduate program. The broad range of research programs at Western allowed me to seek out opportunities that fit my professional goals and interests.

I also participated in the Western Science Internship Program, in which I conducted two 8-month placements. The internship team at Western were very helpful in finding positions and developing resume/cover letter/interview skills.

It was shocking to me to learn the Western Nursing faculty was moved under the Social Sciences category. How this happened requires explanation as it defies all logic. All other BScN Nursing programs in Canada are associated, as they should, within the Medical-Dental-Nursing Science programs.
