Toronto Metropolitan University’s Master of Nursing (MN) program empowers registered nurses to advance their careers in education, leadership, management, and advanced practice. The course-based stream includes five core courses—Quantitative Research Methods: Design and Critical Appraisal, Qualitative Research Methods: Design and Critical Appraisal, Nature and Development of Nursing Knowledge, Seminar in Professional Nursing Advancement, and Practicum in Professional Nursing Advancement. These courses build the foundation for evidence-based decision-making and professional leadership while providing opportunities for students to apply their learning in real-world contexts. Graduates emerge as forward-thinking nursing professionals equipped to contribute meaningfully to practice, policy, and education within the evolving healthcare system.
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, or its equivalent.
- Proof of current registration or proof of registration eligibility with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
