Centennial College’s Graphic Design program, which has a graduate employment rate that exceeds 80 per cent, will prepare you for a multidisciplinary design career. Facilitated at the Story Arts Centre, the courses in this advanced diploma program will take a hands-on approach in an intimate studio environment, rather than having you sit passively in large lecture halls. With small class sizes, you’ll have lots of opportunities to work one-on-one with your professors.

What You’ll Learn

  • Master industry-standard Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign;
  • Learn creative problem solving and design thinking;
  • Design for print, including advertisements, magazines, books and packaging;
  • Design responsive websites, mobile apps and create exciting motion graphics
  • Explore drawing, photography, illustration and type design;
  • Learn professional practice skills to land a great job or start your own design business;
  • Contribute something unique and innovative to the design community in a thesis course;
  • Learn on the job and get course credits through an industry field placement in your final semester;
  • Interact with industry professionals;
  • Become a student member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (RGD Ontario);
  • Learn from professors who are up-to-date and professionally active in the design industry.

This course offers basic networking knowledge, understanding of fundamentals is very important to learn cybersecurity. The only thing I would ask centennial or course coordinator is to add compulsory CCNA or A+ certificate so that students can apply to better positions. The course coordinator and the professors are friendly and have very vast knowledge in their subjects.

I wanted to apply to Centennial College for the Digital Marketing programme.

But they don’t inform new students about the total fees before paying the deposit. They told "approximate fee" and they wanted me to pay a deposit ( 2.650 $) without knowing the total 1-year fee. They just want to have money, money, money!!! Students have a right to learn the exact final tuition fee before they register. They said that they would let me know until 22nd June 2020 but still there is no information. I sent an e-mail 3 times after 22nd June, they never answered my mail.

Moreover
After the pandemic, the Centennial college has just started to demand the whole tuition fee only from the international students until 6th July 2020 while they were taking the fee semester by semester before the pandemic.
They are not asking the whole fee from the domestic students.

Centennial does not be equal for all students in terms of the payment schedule. The epidemic has already affected to all international students. However, Centennial still does not inform students about Fall fees?

My suggestion is please be careful while you want to go to Centennial College. You should think more than twice if you don't want to go to a school which sees you only as money and doesn't respect your rights.
