Best business school in Canada. The case method is very practical and helps tremendously when you're in the workforce. The professors I've had were all really good. There's a lot of support available for interview prep, applying to jobs etc. The alumni network and senior students are all incredibly helpful as well and it's truly a one of a kind experience when it comes to Ivey alumni. They helped me tremendously for interview prep and were available to me which is incredibly rare. The focus here is on learning rather than grades and by the end of the program, I was well equipped in technical and soft skills. For all prospective students, you won't regret going to Ivey.

Ivey is known for its case method approach, which means you’ll get less theory and more presenting and dissecting real business scenarios here. This is valuable because it will expose you to real issues and train you to make decisions, just like you will in the business world. This is extended in case competitions held by Ivey with other schools. For soft skills, this is a great way to learn.

Recruiters LIVE here. Investments banks and consulting firms come to campus to meet third- and fourth-year students who have been screened (in second year) to get into the program. Profs and people were exceptional.

The case-based classes were exciting, but they depend on the quality of students as much or more than the professor. Some students don't have enough experience or reading behind them to contribute, so some classes dragged on.

The degree is also one of the most expensive in Canada. It was worth it for me, but people should have a clear idea of why they’re applying and what they want to get out of it. You don’t want to shell out $60k+ only to learn finance or consulting aren’t for you, or that a cheaper program could have helped you get where you wanted to go.
